What actually matters in Eden
- Eden's muck farmland is some of the most productive vegetable ground in the state, and it is flat, open, and unshaded. If your roof orientation is poor here, a ground mount is genuinely a better answer than a compromised roof plane — which is not true in the built-up Erie County suburbs.
- Eighteen Mile Creek's valley cuts through the town's western half. Houses down in the valley lose more low-angle winter sun than the ones up on the flats.
- Farm country with large parcels, which makes ground mounts genuinely practical and often better-oriented than the available roof.

New York's own credit is unaffected: Form IT-255 still gives 25% of qualified solar equipment cost, capped at $5,000 lifetime, with a five-year carryforward.
